 Bubba Bumps Fitness

Bubba Bumps Fitness has been serving the Post Natal community of Thanet since 2017 ! We can't believe where the time has gone...but time flies when you are having fun! That is what we are all about...making fitness fun and not a chore! We are here to get Mum's out of the home with baby to meet likeminded women and offer a safe and effective workout to music... there is no need for childcare as baby watches Mummy... and eagerly awaits the best part of class ...Mum and Baby Dance!

We absolutely love bubbabumps! Michelle is so friendly and an incredible instructor. Her classes are engaging and she is so welcoming. Michelle is fantastic, keeps you motivated throughout and it's a really fun work out session, love our little work out group, it's great to bond with other mums and restart getting fit after baby without having to stress about childcare. would recommend this class to any new mums.

Michelle Bubbabumps was the best thing I ever signed up for after having my son! Michelle was warm, welcoming and full of infectious energy. Every session was well planned out with fantastic music to motivate you. Piyo was a brilliant follow on having finished bubbabumps. Such a great work out ending in wonderful relaxation. Michelle is an incredible instructor who grades her classes for individual needs and cares about everyone that attends.

 It gives me the kick I need to try and get moving and eating a bit healthier and has helped me get some confidence back and feel more like me again post baby. It's nice to do something for mebut with having my little one safely with me finding it all v funny. I'm still a way off my pre baby weight but I feel so much happier with my post baby body and a big part of that is down to bubba bumps fitness so thank you Michelle

Michelle is a great instructor, she interacts with all of the children.
We attended Bubbabumps when my son was younger, the workouts were great and worked up a sweat!

Annabel , Graduation class of 2021/2022

Annabel has been to Bubba Bumps Fitness with her two children. 1st born in 2021/2022 and because she loved class so much...Annabel returned to Bubba Bumps Fitness with her 2nd Baby in 2023. In August 2024...Annabel took the amazing opportunity to train and study for a few months, all whilst working part-time and being a busy Mumma... Annabel is now a certified Bubba Bumps Fitness Instructor and loves running her very own classes for Mums in Thanet! Annabel loves to be with likeminded Mums and is so passionate about helping them return to exercise safely! Annabel recently was at Under One Roof for the Mummy "Nearly New Sale" ...Where she was offering free "Tummy Checks" ... for Diastasis Recti (The gap/separation between your right and left Abdominal Muscles) We always offer this check to every Mum that joins class. It is optional of course. But always good to check how the core muscles are healing up after having a baby!  Please note... every Mum must complete the Health Screening Form to make sure you are signed off by the doctors (your 6-12 week check) .

Expert in Pre & Post Natal Fitness


Michelle has been in the Fitness Industry for more then Two decades...through all the years of teaching Group Exercise and Personal Training ...Michelle has specialised in Pre/Post Natal Fitness, Diastasis and Pelvic Floor movement rehabilitation. Michelle is also a Soft Tissue Massage Therapist.
Michelle created Bubba Bumps Fitness in 2017...the format of Bubba Bumps Fitness is a safe, fun and effective workout programme structured over 5 to 6 weeks especially for just Post Natal Mums...that  gradually increases strength, balance and endurance to armour up the Post Natal body for all that Mum Life throws at it. 

Teacher Training and Further Education 


Michelle has a BA in Dance and Culture from the University of Surrey and is a Qualified School and Further Education Teacher of Dance and Fitness. Michelle used to teach GCSE, A 'level & BTEC Dance, Full-Time in a London school and worked at the Gym in the evenings ... before moving to Thanet to start a family. 
Michelle has committed her life to learning and helping others to learn from children through to adults. It is her absolute passion. For many years Michelle held Teacher Training sessions for school teachers to teach Dance at Key Stage 3 level to their primary school class. Michelle has also taught people how to be gym and group exercise instructors at colleges. Michelle is super proud to offer the Bubba Bumps Fitness Certification to those who have a passion for movement and music! But most important Michelle loves to help those who also want to help others!

Bubba Bumps Fitness is unique to Thanet, there is no other Mum and Baby group like it. We have been kept going by the pure love that Mums have for Bubba Bumps Fitness! It has become a part of many of the Mums Maternity Leave  and many cherish the memories they make and the life long friends too!
